Malaga Airport is patrolled
continuously by the police & government inspectors looking for
illegal touts. If a Transfer Company asks to meet you anywhere
apart from the designated area in the arrivals terminal, they
will be illegal, (even if they use the excuse that this is due
to building work), their vehicles will also not be insured for
passenger liability cover. You should remember that if stopped
by the Guardia Civil (Police) the vehicle would be confiscated
immediately leaving you stranded. A vehicle that is licensed
will be SP (Servicio Publico) plated by the Spanish Authorities
and you can always ask to see a copy of the Companies "Targeta
de Transporte" license if you are concerned. Please dont ruin
your holiday before it has started.
Q. And on departure?
A. Your driver will meet you at your pre-arranged time and pick
up point. (Please be aware of Taxi touts, your driver will
always have your name. Do not get into the taxi without it.)
Q. Are your vehicles fully licensed and insured?
A. Yes. Each vehicle is fully licensed by the Local Authority,
holding a Targeta de Transporte License. Our vehicles are fully
insured for full passenger liability cover and we strictly
observe our Public License operating regulations. We take our
passenger safety very seriously.
Q. What happens if my flight is delayed?
A. Dont Panic!! All flights are constantly monitored by text
alert and on the Internet so our drivers will be at Malaga
Airport to collect you when you arrive, so that you can start
your holiday. Therefore if your flight is delayed there is no
need to worry about paying costly waiting time because we will
be aware of the delay and will be at Malaga Airport waiting for
you.
Q. What happens if I cannot find my taxi driver?
A. You can contact our Spanish Operations Centre (they all speak
english!), the telephone number will be provided with your
booking form. If you have provided a mobile telephone number,
please ensure that it is switched on, as the Operations Centre
may be trying to contact you.
Q. I am travelling with small children, can you
provide Babyseats and Booster Cushion for the Taxi?
A. We certainly can. We can provide you with Baby Seats or
Booster Cushions if required, in order that the entire family,
travel in comfort in our fully air conditioned vehicles whilst
on holiday. NB. Under Spanish Law Minibuses over 6 seats are
not fitted with seat belts. We can only supply one child
restraint per minibus which includes its own independent fitting
device.
Q. Are all fares inclusive or will I be asked for
extra money at the end of my transfer?
A. All our taxi fares are all pre-quoted so no haggling with the
taxi driver and no unpleasant surprises when you reach you
holiday destination.
Q. Do I need to tip the driver?
A. The price quoted does not include gratuity. If you feel the
driver has been helpful, courteous and friendly, then a small
tip is normal.
Q. Will the taxi driver help me with my luggage?
A. Of course. There is no struggling with your luggage at
Malaga Airport or your holiday destination, as our taxi drivers
are here to help.
Q. Will all my luggage fit in the vehicles?
A. Saloon cars (1-4 Passengers) can carry a maximum of two large
suitcases or three medium sized suitcases (the soft variety not
the hard plastic type) plus hand luggage. If your luggage would
exceed this we would suggest you upgrade to a people carrier, as
it is illegal in spain to tie the boot of a vehicle down. There
is no luggage restriction on People Carriers & minibuses.
Q. Do you charge extra if we need to collect
keys?
A. Providing the key collection is en-route, there is no extra
charge for your transfer.
Q. Can I smoke in the vehicles?
A. No sorry, we do not allow smoking in our vehicles.
Q. Are your vehicles fully licensed and insured?
A. Yes. Our vehicles are fully insured for full passenger
liability cover and we strictly observe our Public License
operating regulations. We take our passenger safety very
seriously.
Q. Which terminal at Malaga Airport?
A. There are currently three terminals at Malaga Airport and one
under construction. Terminal 1 is for Non EU arrivals, Terminal
2 is the main Terminal for UK, Ireland & rest of EU Arrivals and
Terminal 3 is reserved for General Aviation & Private flights.
90-95% of all European flights arrive Malaga Airport at terminal
2 although during busy times some flights are occasionally
diverted to Terminal 1. But don't worry, your taxi driver will
be pre-warned of this and meet you there on arrival.
Q. What areas do your taxis cover on the Costa
del Sol - will you transfer me from Malaga Airport to any
destination on the Costa del Sol?
A. Our cars and minibuses can transfer you from Malaga Airport
to any destination on the Costa del Sol.

quotation - the map shown gives all the popular destinations
that we transfer customers to, and gives you an idea of the
entire area that we cover - and if your destination is not
listed then contact us anyway, we are sure to be able to help.
Q. What is the latest time that I can book a
car/minibus to pick me up from Malaga Airport or take me to the
Airport?
A. Obviously the more notice that you give the better. Although
we can normally accept bookings 24 hours prior to arrival.
Q. Once my Airport Transfer booking has been
accepted, do I need to confirm it?
A. No. Once we have your booking, all you need to do is look
forward to your holiday.
